Ini Vie Hospitality has introduced two signature cultural rituals at its properties, giving every stay a meaningful beginning and a heartfelt close. The Welcome Culture opens each visit with a Footwash Ritual and Blessing Water, while the Farewell Culture ends it with the Tridatu Farewell Ceremony. Both draw on Balinese traditions of spiritual balance and gratitude, offering guests a deeper connection to the island beyond their room.

Welcome Culture: A Fresh Start in Bali
On arrival, guests are invited to take part in the Footwash Ritual, followed by a sprinkling of Blessing Water. Inspired by Balinese practices of purification, the ceremony is designed to wash away negative energy and bring a sense of renewal after a long journey.
As the water flows over the feet and body, it symbolizes cleansing and a clear beginning. The gesture prepares each guest to welcome positive experiences and start creating new memories on the island.
Farewell Culture: The Tridatu Ceremony
Before departure, guests are honored with the Tridatu Farewell Ceremony. A woven Tridatu thread of red, white, and black is gently tied around the wrist as a symbol of prayer, protection, and gratitude. In Balinese Hindu tradition, these three colors represent the divine forces of creation, preservation, and renewal.
This simple ritual carries the moments shared during the stay. Guests leave with a small piece of Bali’s warmth and peace on their wrist, a gentle reminder of the island until they return.
These rituals are our way of honoring Balinese heritage while welcoming every guest like family, from the moment they arrive until the day we say goodbye. By weaving local customs into the guest journey, Ini Vie Hospitality continues its commitment to stays that feel personal, authentic, and connected to the place.
