Rooted in centuries of Balinese tradition, this rite draws on sacred water (tirta) and blessed rice (bije) to cleanse the spirit before it steps fully into the island's embrace.

Sacred water is gently sprinkled over your head, carrying away the weight of distant places from your mind, your words, and your soul. Grains of bije are then pressed onto your forehead, an offering of purity and awakening, as Bali welcomes you home.
